For three decades, Dr. Liudmila Schafer has pursued hard-fought advances in her passion, finding avenues for progression as a female oncologist who has been in medicine for over 26 years and went from corporate America and academic institutions to business strategist, CEO, and founder of The Doctor Connect consultancy, specializing in National Impact Strategy (NIS) that involved business coaching. Dr. Schafer is now a member of the Forbes Coach Council, physician-entrepreneur, business coach, keynote speaker, TV host, has her own television show on abc15 and a podcast on major platforms in the world.
Growing up and starting her career outside of the United States, she can relate to disparities and focuses on populations through passionate care and economically sustainable business strategies.
Dr. Schafer is a board-certified and award-winning medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal malignancies. As a medical trainee and healthcare professional mentor, she laid the groundwork for a physician’s education curriculum in hematology/oncology.
Dr. Schafer also served as principal investigator and co-investigator for clinical trials, holds certification in Translational Research, and is a teaching scholar in cancer education, and associate professor of medicine.
